Pirelli has been honoured by Ford with a Gold World Excellence Award given to companies that exceed the car maker’s expectations to achieve the highest levels of excellence in quality, delivery, value and innovation.

It was one of only 88 suppliers selected from the thousands which work with Ford and presented with the award at the recent annual Ford World Excellence Awards. Pirelli was also a finalist for the Brand Pillar Award. Marco Crola, CEO of Pirelli Tyre North America, said: “It is an honour to receive the Gold World Excellence Award from Ford. This has been awarded to Pirelli for its high technology and flexibility capabilities in supplying tyres to Ford’s global vehicle portfolio. It’s an important partnership for us and we look forward to supporting Ford in future.”
