The Michelin name and logo are probably the most instantly recognisable of any tyre maker. The Michelin range of tyres covers the entire car market, from family cars to supercars and are bought by everyone from fleet managers looking to maximise the fuel economy of their vehicles, to track day drivers trying to maximise the grip of theirs.

Its story began in 1889 when two brothers, Andre and Edouard Michelin, set up what has become a global business and a true market leader with its tyres used in every single part of the car industry and extensively in motorsport. Last year the Reputation Institution rated Michelin as the 13th of any in the world when it asked people which brand they would trust and today it is number one in the tyre market in the UK, USA, China, Germany and Italy. It speaks volumes that in the past three years, Michelin has won more than 25 awards just in Europe alone.
