Why should I change my oil?
Your engine needs sufficient oil to function properly. Driving with low or poor quality oil can seriously damage your engine, which is why your oil should be changed every six months to prolong the life of your car.
How often should I check my oil levels?
We recommend checking your oil level once a month to keep your engine running smoothly. Your oil will be changed as part of an Interim, Full and Major Service, however, it is important to check your level regularly to ensure your reservoir is sufficiently topped up between services.
We recommend an oil and filter change every six months or 6,000 miles, whichever is sooner.
An oil and filter change is ideal for maintaining your cars peak operating performance between services, but is not recommended as a replacement for an annual service. If you’re unsure the last time your car had an oil change or service, we recommend either a Full or Major Service.
