Landsail makes Japfest debut

Landsail Tyres is making its debut at this weekend’s Japfest at Silverstone, sponsoring the Track Time events and giving show visitors the chance to get behind the wheel of a classic Nissan NSX via The Racing Bug simulators.
It will be the first time the company has been involved with the hugely popular festival as it seeks wider exposure. Landsail currently has 4% of the new tyre market, accounting for one in every 25 new treads bought in the UK and says it has the potential to build on that once drivers try the products.
Leigh Melling, Landsail UK Brand Manager, said: “The Landsail range covers 97% of passenger cars and SUVs on sale in the UK. Consumer confidence is high and we are trusted by millions thanks to personal and industry recommendations and the customer experience. Once drivers try our tyres they cannot believe they are so affordable. They offer the grip, control, braking and all-round composure you need day in, day out.”
Landsail’s range includes the LS588 UHP tyre. As the UK market has seen a rise in demand for low profile UHP (Ultra High Performance) tyres for everything from Japanese performance cars to SUVs, more buyers are choosing it and the company is seeing good sales growth for this tread.
