General Tire goes off-road

General Tire continues to build its portfolio with the launch of the Grabber X3 featuring Smooth Red Letter (SRL) sidewall markings, an all-terrain tyre but with a clear emphasis put on its off-roading ability.
It is designed around three technologies: ‘Extreme Mud (X Mud)’ for maximum traction in deep mud, ‘Extreme Dirt (X Dirt)’ for driving on loose surfaces or gravel, and ‘Extreme Rock (X Rock)’ for tackling rocky terrain.
All three rely on a tread pattern that features deep grooves, channels for mud evacuation and staggered edges which makes for high levels of grip on sand, mud and gravel. The Grabber X3 is built with DuraGen technology and has a three-ply structure for extra strength and puncture resistance. It will be sold in 10 sizes for 15- to 20- inch rims and all are approved for speeds of up to 100 mph.
