Bridgestone’s new Turanza T005 won a group test with best marks in several key areas.

Using 185/65 R15 size tyres which would be suitable for a mid-size hatchback, and taking treads from a variety of manufacturers, the German ADAC motoring organisation rated the Bridgestone ahead of the competition overall with excellent performance on dry and wet roads as well as in fuel consumption and low wear. The Turanza T005 is ‘A’ rated for wet grip in the EU labelling tests.

Christian Mühlhäuser, Regional Managing Director Bridgestone Central Region, said: “We are greatly satisfied with the overall outcome. The performance on wet and dry roads underlines its EU label A grade in wet grip. We steadily want to provide drivers with solutions for everyday challenges they encounter in road traffic. This test demonstrates that we were highly successful with the Turanza T005.”

The Turanza T005 is available in more than 170 sizes from 14 to 21 inch diameters and suitable for cars and SUVs.
