High-tech designs improve the Sport BluResponse in every area. It uses a polymer compound to provide better performance on wet roads, closed shoulder grooves reduce noise and Short Braking Blocks to lessen braking distances.
The Sport BluResponse has dramatically reduced rolling resistance derived from its aerodynamic shape and low-heat compound. This improves fuel efficiency by up to 30% when compared to its predecessor.
The Dunlop Sport BluResponse is designed for family superminis and hatchbacks but is packed with hi-tech designs and technologies which give the driver much improved performance in every critical area. It grips much better in the wet, has dramatically improved fuel efficiency with up to 30% savings compared to its predecessor, it gives a quieter drive and certain sizes will even protect the tyre if you pinch it against a kerb when parking. The Sport BluResponse has too many special technologies to fully list here but some of the most important are the low heat compound and aerodynamic profiling Dunlop has used to cut rolling resistance by almost one-third for lower fuel bills. A polymer compound makes the tyre grip the road surface better and the tread design builds on this to give the driver more security in wet conditions. Its flatter tread profile puts more rubber on the road and Dunlop’s asymmetric tread has a variable `land-to-sea’ ratio, in other words some parts of the tyre are optimised for water drainage and dispersal, others for maximum dry grip and handling. The Dunlop Sport BluResponse fits cars with 14, 15, 16 and 17 inch wheels.
