About Citroen
For many years now one half of the PSA Alliance, Citroen and its industrial partner Peugeot, makes award winning cars and vans in most sectors of the market. Famed for some of the most iconic cars ever built, perhaps most of all the 2CV, and for the smoothness of the ride from its unique suspension, the economic reality of building cars in the modern market means that Citroen has lost some of its individuality but it still manages to inject flair into its current range and goes further than many manufacturers
in giving customers more choice on colour and trim combinations to personalise their vehicles. Citroen is able to use PSA’s exceptional PureTech engines which year in, year out, are judged to be the best in their category and thanks to the economies of scale available by being part of a much bigger industrial group, rather than a single manufacturer, can also fit its cars with a huge array of driver aid, safety and connectivity technology at an affordable price.

C1
The smallest in the Citroen range, the C1 is a little three or five door city car. Available in a choice of eight exterior colours with various combinations offered, the C1 is also unusual in this sector of the market in having a soft-top version, the C1 Airscape. It has a very good standard of safety and driver-aid technology and a choice of engines. Depending on the trim level, the C1 has 14 or 15 inch wheels.
C3
The C3 is a modern, capable five door family hatchback with distinctive styling. It has signs of Citroen’s trademark quirkiness such as the ‘airbumps’ along the doors, air-filled and scratch proof panels there to protect against car park knocks and scrapes as much as a styling touch, and the high-set ‘light bar’ which distinguishes it from anything else on the road. It has an array of petrol and diesel engine options and as with many Citroen cars, a huge range of colours and options which can be applied in a variety of combinations.
C3 Aircross
This is the SUV version of the C3 hatchback and has the conventional, raised styling typical of this sector of the market with roof rails adding to the image of an off-roader. Launched in late 2017 the C3 Aircross is one of the newest contenders and has the advantages of the latest safety and convenience technology. With eight body colours, three roof colours and four Colour Packs, there are 85 combinations available and a similar range of choice inside with five ‘ambiences’, as Citroen calls them, to select from.
C4 Cactus
A substantially revised and upgraded version of the earlier car, the C4 Cactus five door hatchback arrived in 2018 and among its many improvements, it harks back to when Citroens were renowned for their comfortable ride. It has what are called Progressive Hydraulic Cushion in the suspension to soak up and isolate the occupants from bumps, and also Advanced Comfort Seats to further insulate them from any upsets caused by our uneven roads.
Berlingo
The third and latest generation of Citroen’s practical MPV which stretches back to the first van-derived versions in the mid-1990s, the current Berlingo follows much the same formula but with the safety, equipment and leisure touches expected by today’s buyers. It offers multiple storage features making it ideal for carrying a family on an activity day, the sliding side doors which have been a Berlingo signature since the first one, make access much easier than with a hinged door and come into their own in a tight parking space in a supermarket. The three back seats can be individually folded flat into the floor for added practicality.
C4 Space Tourer
A modern SUV, the C4 SpaceTourer emphasises Citroen’s tradition of delivering luxury with its RELAX function which lets you travel in first comfort. The front seats will give you a massage, the front passenger seat has an electrically adjustable footrest and both offer extra support headrests. It is made with 15 driver assist functions and among its engine range is the multi-award winning PureTech unit, a serial victor in the Engine of the Year awards.
