Thanks to Thundersprint, we’ve got motorcycling festivals on the brain and fortunately there’s a whole host of events running up and down the country to feed our hunger. So, helmets at the ready, we’ve got a summer of biking entertainment ahead of us…
Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling. 21st – 29th August.
Suiting bikers of all ages, this festival is particularly popular for its eclectic mix of vintage and modern machines competing in various races and demonstrations. The highlight of the event has to be the newly developed Classic TT Races, playing tribute to over 100 years of racing on the Isle of Man.
Rock & Bike Festival. 17th – 20th July.
For two loves that go hand in hand, you want to head down to this year’s Rock & Bike Festival at Carnfield Hall in Derbyshire. At just £40 a ticket including FREE camping you can enjoy a great line-up of music and freak acts plus a few funny competitions to get stuck into – including Best Chopper!
Bikefest Kelso. 5th – 6th July.
The BMF Kelso Bikefest brings bikes, entertainment, music and above all great fun to the Borders region, where the surrounding roads are screaming to be explored. The Club Games will once again return for 2014 holding the knock-out round on Saturday and the Grand Final on Sunday.
Conwy Bike Fest. 4th – 6th July.
Only open to those looking to camp for the whole weekend, Conwy’s biggest and best festival, Bike Fest, comprises of all the elements that make a great biking festival – rally’s, show & shine competitions, live entertainment, food stalls, cash prizes and of course, beer tents.
Triumph Live. 12th July.
There is something for the whole of the family at Triumph Live 2014 including amazing displays of skilled stunt riding, custom bike zones, museums and much more. Plus, have you ever wondered what it’s like to ride on a Bonneville or Thunderbird Commander? Well you’re in luck, with guided demo rides held throughout the day.
