‘Do-nut’ ignore the warnings, says Goodyear

By Dan BezerTyre Advice26th February 2019

Goodyear has launched ‘Donut Ignore the Signs’ campaign to help drivers spot warnings that something is wrong with a tyre and encourage them to get into the habit of doing regular and simple checks.

It has designed a graphic with six doughnuts which show the six most common symptoms of a tyre with a problem.

David Morris, Business Account Manager – Fleet & Public Sector, Goodyear Tyres, said: “Ultimately, it is down to the motorist to ensure that their tyres are in good health but many struggle to easily identify dangerous tyre conditions. “By presenting potential tyre conditions in a playful image, our hope is that drivers will become more in-tune with their rubber and feel confident to complete at-home or at-work checks”.

Drivers and fleet managers can join in the conversation on social media using #DonutIgnoreTheSigns.
