What you need to know about our mobile tyre fitting service

Never had the task of buying a tyre before or never heard of a mobile fitting service? Fear not! We won’t bore you with everything we know about tyres, instead we have created some simple pieces of advice that will help you book the best tyre for your vehicle.

Pre-Fitting Advice

1. Tyre Size:
You will need to know your tyre size when you book online or speak to one of our operators. This information is easy to find and can be found on the side wall of your tyre. Please quote the entire size which is made up of 5 sections eg: Width =195 / Profile = 55 / Diameter = R 16 / Load 86 / Speed Rating = V.

2. Tyre Choice:
What do you want from your tyre? Is it for a specific season such as Winter conditions or a tyre that will suit your budget? We have made the tyre results section really easy so that you can choose and refine your results easily and with your preferences in mind.

3. Date & Time:
Choose your preferred fitting time, either AM or PM. We will also call you to confirm your booking.

4. Location:
Where you would like your tyres fitted? Home or work or at another location? As long as we can access your vehicle safely and it’s not on the side of the road, we'll be with you.

5. Booking:
You can book over the phone or online. Once you have placed your order we will send you an email confirming all the booking details, including the tyre make, model and size. Please double check this information to ensure we have the right information.

6. Cancellation:
You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the agreed time of fitting free of charge. If you do not cancel within this time frame, you will be subject to a £25 cancellation fee. You will need to call us as soon as possible if you wish to make any changes to your booking.

The Fitting

  1. Our friendly technician will arrive within the 2 hour time frame. If on those rare occasions we are delayed due to traffic, we will keep you informed.
  2. Have your locking wheel nut available when we turn up – it’s normally hiding in a glove compartment or with your spare tyre. If you can’t find it, give us a call.
  3. We will check all your wheels and note down the wear on your tyres, even the ones we are not changing. That way we can always let you know when we think you should recheck your tyres. We will take some photos of all your wheels before and after the fitting.
  4. We don’t ask you for payment in advance, only taking payment once your fitting is complete via our mobile chip and pin machines,so make sure you have your card handy. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Once your new tyres have been fitted we will ask you to sign the job sheet to indicate that you are happy with the work we have done.
