Why do a Tyre Safety Check? 
Quite simply, to ensure your staff are driving on safe, legal and road worthy tyres.The maximum fine a court can impose for using a vehicle with a defective tyre is £2,500 and three penalty points. If a vehicle is fitted withmore than one defective tyre, you can be summoned for each illegal tyre. 69%of UK drivers are driving on under inflated tyres. This can increase your fuel consumption by 5% and your tyres will need replacing much earlier.

What is a Safety Check?
One of our fully trained technicians will visit the company car park. He will measure the tread of tyres and assess each tyre for wear and damage. He will leave a card in the rubber seal of the driver’s window identifying whether tyres are rated as

Green - Legal and safe
Amber - Advise replacing tyres
Red - illegal and dangerous 

We do not need the car keys or indeed the owner of the vehicle to carry out this inspection.  There is absolutely no obligationto use us to get the tyre changed or repaired.
