About us – Tyres on the Drive

Tyres on the Drive.com was formed in 2011 by Managing Director Dominic Clark.

For 12 years Dominic held senior managerial positions at Michelin, where he learnt the tyre business inside out.

Dominic had an exciting and varied career and even found the time to take part in the Paris Dakar Rally.

Interviewed recently Dominic said

“I have spent so much time in dirty, cold and expensive garages that I saw the need for a bit of a change. The idea formed in my mind for Tyres on the Drive. Why can’t discounted tyres be fitted at the customer's home or place of work and at a time to suit them?”.

From the beginning he wanted to do everything professionally, with a fleet of brand new Mercedes Sprinter vans, fully equipped with the latest fitting technology.

Dominic carefully recruited his technicians. They, of course, had to have the necessary technical experience, but also the ability to relate to customers and deliver 100% customer satisfaction.

Apart from the Mobile Fitting Service, Tyres on the Drive.com also has a Fitting Centre in Holmes Chapel Business Park.

Tyres on the Drive is a forward thinking company that realises that satisfied, happy customers are the future.  Success will be built on word of mouth.
